Product Warranty Information
TFI warrants to its trade customers that its hardware products will be free from original defects in materials and workmanship. TFI will replace or repair, at its option, free of charge, any part found to be defective under normal use and service for the life of the product.
This warranty does not apply to TFI hardware products which have been altered, modified, used, or installed in any manner contrary to TFI specifications and instructions. TFI's liability under this warranty is limited solely to replacement or repair of the defective parts.
No agent or representative of TFI has the authority to waive, alter, add to the printed provisions of this warranty; to make any representation or warranty not contained herein; or to extend this warranty to anyone other than TFI's trade customers.
TFI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages in conjunction with the use of this product.
This warranty is given expressly and in place of all other expressed or implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and this warranty is the only warranty made by TFI.
Product design changes: TFI reserves the right to redesign, alter, or modify its product and shall not incur any liability if a customer's inventory differs from the current design being sold.
Decorative Hardware Product Liability Criteria
- The consumer using TFI/ Avanté product must determine the correct type and size of the fastening device such as screws unless provided with the product.
- The purchased TFI/Avanté product must NOT be exposed to acidic or corrosive materials some of which are found in common household cleaning solutions and substances. Only use mild dish soap with water and a soft cleaning cloth.
- To ensure all TFI/Avanté product function properly after being purchased, they must be kept clean and not damaged by unusual abuse.
- TFI/Avanté is only liable for any direct functional defect but not the appearance finish of the used product; unless the said appearance finish defects were caused by the manufacturing process.
